Function: Fosters professional development and mobilizes professionals for ministryModimowabarwa has established himself over years as a renowned researcher in the field of Public Administration and Management. He obtained his doctoral degree in Public Administration from the University of Pretoria.  He also did a short course in Economic and Financial Negotiations at International Institute of Public Administration in France.  He is linked to a number of universities, as extraordinaire professor at the Tshwane University of Technology; alumnus at the University of Pretoria; and provides academic support to Midlands State University (Zimbabwe) and the University of Fort Hare.

As a scholar, Modimowabarwa is well published and his publication record spans the authoring of over 30 peer-reviewed publications, books and book chapters.  He is a recipient of the 2015 HSRC Excellence Award.

Modimowabarwa has served the church in the capacities of Church Clerk, Stewardship Director and Elder. He is currently the Education Director at the Trans Orange Conference.

His hobbies include watching news and sports, and coaching young minds to research and publish.

One of his ambitions (which he is busy effecting) is to build a heritage site to commemorate his life’s accomplishments and the impact he has made on society.

Modimowabarwa is married to Tebatjo, and they have a 3 year old son, Boitumelo
