VP: Business Development
Function: Advises on business development interventions and fosters business ministry
Sam Alexander is a man of passion, who does not believe in half measures. His career highlights include: Divisional HR manager at Liberty Life, MD of Strive Foundation (a micro business development company) during which he set up over 15 000 micro businesses, non-executive Director of Ackermans, and is currently CEO of The Pacific Institute, a training company.
Some of his awards include: Competent toastmaster (1982), OB – honour by Queen of England (1990) and the Star Newspaper’s “Entrepreneur of the Week” (1992).
He is passionate about facilitating constructive change in the lives of people, and this is seen through his various efforts at building local communities. He enjoys watching sports, gospel music and has a great interest in world news, particularly international politics.
Sam is married to Hawa and has six children and six grandchildren.
