Brian Hall is a qualified diesel and motor mechanic. He completed a four year apprenticeship and technical training with distinction through London City and Guilds. He always had an ambition to start a trucking company specializing in tanker transportation of petroleum and palm products – which he now has. He started with one truck in Durban in 1999 and today has a modern fleet of tankers that transport bulk liquids across Southern Africa.
About 10 years ago the Lord called Brian to do public evangelism which has been the greatest blessing in his life. Brian says that, “To be instrumental in the salvation of men is the most humble, yet incredibly fulfilling work ever entrusted to mortals. That is my passion, and I use my business to finance personal and public evangelism.”
Brian had an opportunity to go to New York in 2013 for training and the launch of Mission to the Cities with Mark Finley. Besides local campaigns, he has also been involved in conducting international efforts in Zimbabwe, Angola and Kenya.
Brian’s motto in life is “to go where the Lord wants me to go, do what He wants me to do, be what the He wants me to be, and speak what the He wants me to speak.”
One of Brian’s life’s ambitions was to operate a Christian bookshop. The Lord made this possible in 2016, when he opened a bookshop which now operates as a family ministry. All profits are channelled into literature evangelism. To date the ministry has given out scores of books, pamphlets and Bible studies to churches and individuals. This has been made possible through funding from the family business. Brian says that “Seeing my family involved in sharing Christ has been most gratifying.”
Brian loves outdoor activities. One of his past hobbies was fishing but he remarks that “now my passion is fishing for Jesus.”
He is married to Beverly Hall and they have 4 children (3 of which are married) and 5 grandchildren.
